True sneaker enthusiasts know what's coming. And the rest of us had better just get out of the way.

Nike's releasing the most highly-anticipated shoe in some time this Saturday: The Air Jordan 11 Retro "Gamma" sneakers.

Nike's Air Jordan shoes were first released for sale to the public in 1985 after Michael Jordan himself wore them as a rookie in 1984. New designs have been released annually ever since and the Air Jordan 11 Retro "Gamma, " to be released Saturday, is an updated version of the Air Jordan XI sneakers from 1995.

The Gamma, which features a black upper and midsole and a translucent blue outsole, follows in the footsteps of the Space Jam, Cool Grey, Concord and Bred colorways of Air Jordan 11s.

A pair of the new "Gamma" sneakers will cost $185 for men's sizes (the shoes are also available in sizes for juniors, kids, toddlers and even newborns), although a limit of one pair per customer will be enforced.

Be sure to exercise caution if you're headed to stores Saturday to pick up a pair for yourself. Many of the shoes are already spoken for with stores handing out vouchers to people who prepaid in earlier sales. Now, they must line up on Saturday with their vouchers to pick up their shoes.

The 2011 release of the Air Jordan XI Concords caused more than a little uproar as there were reports of many fights — and subsequent arrests — at malls and sneaker stores across the nation. Not to mention some near riots.

All just for a pair of the pricey, newly released shoes.
